The Holding Company
Our mission: the Ascalon Holding GmbH acquires & manages participations at domestic and foreign companies in the construction sector, in particular companies active in the segments of doors & window fittings, profiles, construction elements & its respective logistics.
Related to these activities Ascalon started to acquire shares of VBH Holding AG Germany in 2009, becoming the majority owner with 65.82% in 2016, and changing its structure into VBH Holding GmbH. Since April 2017 Mr. Victor Trenev is managing director of VBH, determining its strategy next to his responsibilities for the subsidiaries of TBM in CIS.
Since 2017 Ascalon holds 70% of shares of esco Holding GmbH and ATE BeteiligungsgesmbH respectively, being the majority owner of esco Metallbausysteme GmbH, a leading trading company in the market of construction fittings. These acquisitions together with the shares of VBH Holding GmbH not only make us the market leader in Germany but also a significant international player.
To further strengthen our international presence Ascalon did acquire 100% of the Polish company WISLA Corporation Sp. z.o.o., and 96.08% of Finnish SCANCERCO OY, another local player in the market of windows & door fittings.
